We currently have a job opening at our Hartland for a Warranty Administrator.

Job Description

This position assists with all DTNA warranty related issues. This includes assisting in the warranty process, entering service data management software, filing warranty claims and responsible for ensuring the timeliness of the warranty procedure and ensuring refunds are distributed appropriately.

Job Requirements

  • Warranty Administrator experience in the trucking industry would be helpful

  • Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational ability.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Duties:

  • Prepares, submits and follows up on warranty claims.

  • Processes all warranty paperwork, ensuring proper documentation and verifies criteria required by factory or distributor.

  • Keeps up-to-date of all factory recalls and announcements.

  • Assists in getting parts shipped to the factory or distributor and resubmits all rejected claims promptly.

  • Reconciles all warranty receivables and works with the accounting department to obtain payments.

  • Keeps track of all warranty parts by noting the repair order number, date of replacement and date on which part may be disposed.

  • Maintains all service and customer records as required by the warrantor.

  • Coordinate with manager and prepare repair order for authorization as per warranty requirement.

  • Assist customers with all warranty service and prepare associate documents.

  • Update database and prepare require filling documents.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and ensure compliance to all warranty specifications.

  • Complete data entry for warranty claims and filings

  • Prepare documents for all warranty papers and mention repair order number and date of replacement.

  • Maintain records of customer details and warrantor references.

  • Other duties as assigned.
