Job description
We currently have a full-time position available for an Outside Parts & Tires Sales Representative at our Fredericton (Hanwell) location.
The Outside Parts & Tires Sales Representative will grow our customer base and strengthen relationships across our assigned territory. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, building long-term partnerships, and providing practical solutions in the heavy-duty truck and trailer parts industry. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them keep their fleets running efficiently through reliable parts, tires, and service support.
Responsibilities and requirements:
Develop and manage a defined sales territory, identifying new business opportunities and growing existing accounts
Conduct regular in-person visits, supported by phone and email communication, to maintain strong customer relationships
Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate parts, tires, and solutions
Work closely with inside sales, parts, and service teams to ensure accurate orders and on-time delivery
Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally, ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention
Track territory activity, opportunities, and follow-ups to maintain a consistent sales pipeline
Support overall team success by contributing where needed in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
Experience in outside sales, territory management, or automotive/heavy-duty parts (dealership or aftermarket experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of truck, trailer, or heavy-duty parts is a strong asset
Comfortable working in a 90% field / 10% inside sales role
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned territory
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Self-driven, organized, and able to manage time and priorities independently
Ability to follow direction while also taking initiative to build a personal sales plan
Schedule:
8/9-hour shift
Monday to Friday
