Job description

We currently have a full-time position available for a Parts Assistant at our Salisbury location.

This role involves a mix of inventory handling, shipping/receiving, parts organization, and customer support, and plays a key role in keeping the shop and service team running efficiently. This is a physically demanding position requiring regular lifting, movement of parts, and working in both warehouse and yard environments. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts and materials, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation

  • Organize and maintain parts inventory, including bin locations, labeling, and storage systems

  • Pick and prepare parts orders for internal technicians and external customers

  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment

  • Load, unload, and move parts using appropriate equipment (including forklifts where applicable)

  • Perform local parts deliveries and pickups as required

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe parts storage and warehouse areas

  • Support the Parts and Service teams with timely and accurate parts handling

  • Complete paperwork and system entries accurately (shipping/receiving, inventory, orders)

  • Follow all company safety procedures in a warehouse and yard environment

  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience in a parts, warehouse, or industrial environment preferred (truck & trailer or heavy equipment is an asset) 

  • Valid driver’s license (required) 

  • Forklift experience or willingness to be trained 

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling parts and paperwork 

  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory system

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks 

Schedule:

  • 9-hour shift

  • Monday to Friday

  • Possible overtime
