Job description
We currently have a full-time position available for an apprentice Reefer Technician at our Hartland location.
We’re looking for an apprentice or junior mechanic responsible for the repair and maintenance of large commercial trailers. This job requires physical strength, including heavy lifting, frequent bending, and working in tight spaces.
Responsibilities and requirements:
Inspect and test reefer units to locate faults and malfunctions
Repair and adjust reefer systems to manufacturer's specifications
Estimate parts and labour costs
Perform scheduled maintenance service
Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Review work orders and discuss work with Service Advisor
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Qualifications:
Experience in Transport Refrigeration is an asset
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Schedule:
9-hour shift
Monday to Friday
