Job description

We currently have a full-time position available for a Service Advisor at our at our Hartland Truck Shop location.

This is an excellent opportunity for a team player with a contagious can-do attitude in the workplace. This position interacts with customers and interprets their concerns to the Parts and Service teams. The duties include answering customers’ inquiries, making product suggestions and recommendations, and welcoming customers upon their arrival. This role has excellent opportunities for advancement.

*NOTE: This is a straight evening shift position.

Responsibilities and requirements:

  • Working with both Parts & Service Department

  • Welcoming customers and discussing their needs

  • Assisting customers in scheduling appointments for routine maintenance and needed repairs

  • Preparing and explaining cost estimates to customers

  • Accurately explaining the nature of mechanical problems and work performed

  • Handling phone inquiries regarding work-in-progress, appointments and return phone messages promptly

  • Maintaining vehicle records by keeping track of problems and corrective actions

  • Adhere to all Dealership policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Service advisor/parts experience

  • Knowledge of digital technology, including the ability to use the internet and the appropriate software

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong customer service skills in order to handle customer complaints and questions effectively

  • Ability to interpret technical terms to the customers

  • Willingness to maintain a high degree of product and industry knowledge

  • Exceptional customer service skills, excellent follow-up skills with a genuine focus on customer support and retention

Schedule:

  • This is a straight evening shift position.

  • 8/9-hour shift

  • Monday to Friday

  • Possible overtime
